Growing up in Berlin, Viola honed her talent in the Landesjugendjazz-choir led by Marc Secara. She went on to study and perform musical styles as diverse as german rock and pop. But her big band , swing roots, combined with such childhood influences as Gershwin & Duke Ellington, made jazz a natural showcase for her talent.
From Latin to swing, Viola shines. Her impeccable instincts and mellow sound have garnered the attention of some of the finest musicians in the industry. She performs with Andrej Hermlin & his Swing Dance Orchestra.
Violas fluid style lends itself to a vast repertoire from Antonio Carlos Jobim to Rodgers and Hart and many more, She's sung on numerous recordings, including works for commercial and corporate use. She's an accomplished studio session singer and not surprisingly, Viola is a talented songwriter herself.
Performing at galas, private parties and clubs with her own band VioTrio. Viola´s career has taken her from U.S.A to Japan. Once you hear this gifted vocalist, you'll agree that this is the start of a long, and successful musical journey. |
